PT Silver City Drilling (PT SCD) was established in 2022 to meet the growing demand for high-quality drilling and completion services across Indonesia.

 

Since commencing operations, Rig 20 has successfully drilled three geothermal wells totaling over 3,000 meters within just 110 operating days—completing the project five days ahead of the 115-day forecast. Notably, this was achieved with zero lost-time incidents and zero recordable injuries.

In September 2024, PT SCD also successfully executed a geothermal well cleanout to a depth of 6,000 ftMD in just 10 operating days, highlighting our operational efficiency and capability in geothermal environments.

Although PT SCD is a relatively new entity in Indonesia, it is backed by the strength and legacy of our parent company, Silver City Drilling Ltd (SCD)—Australia’s largest independently owned drilling contractor. With a proud history spanning over 20 years, SCD has become a recognized leader across Oil, Gas, Mineral, and Water drilling projects, servicing clients in all regions of Australia.
